Honoring Fire: The Role of the Fire Tender - Online
Honoring Fire: The Role of the Fire Tender is a free, one-hour Zoom gathering offered in recognition of National Firewalking Day. This session is dedicated to fire awareness and to honoring the often unseen but essential role of the Fire Tender. Fire tenders are those who prepare, tend, and safeguard ceremonial fire with care and responsibility.
The focus is centered around education, reflection, and ethical relationship with fire as a living element. Participants will be introduced to the responsibilities involved in fire tending, why preparation and training matter, and how thoughtful stewardship forms the foundation for any ceremonial fire work.
This is a conversation and awareness gathering, not a firewalk. The intention is to offer a grounded entry point for those who are curious about fire work, fire tending, or the values that guide Sacred Grove’s approach to ceremonial fire.
This gathering also serves as a gentle introduction for those who may wish to learn more about future Fire Tending education. There is no expectation to commit to any next step. Only an invitation to listen, reflect, ask questions, and understand what tending fire responsibly involves.
Animal Wisdom: Leopard | Strength Without Strain - Online
Animal Wisdom: Strength Without Strain is a one-hour, Zoom-based class guided by the embodied wisdom of the Leopard. This offering explores how strength can arise through alignment, coordination, and ease rather than effort or force, supporting confident presence and grounded engagement.
Drawing inspiration from the leopard’s fluid movement and relaxed power, participants are guided to sense posture, breath, and attention as sources of stability and clarity. Practices include gentle grounding, awareness of coordinated strength, relaxed orientation, and periods of quiet stillness that allow the body to settle into easeful readiness.
This class is especially supportive as energy naturally expands in spring, offering space to engage life with confidence while remaining responsive to inner signals and natural pacing. Participants are invited to join from a quiet, comfortable space where they can sit or rest with minimal interruption. No prior experience is required.
The Practice of Breath
Sacred Grove Practice Series: The Practice of Breath is a 4-week live community practice devoted to returning, gently and consistently, to the steadiness of breath.
This series meets weekly on Saturdays: May 2, 9, 16 & 23 | 10:00–11:00 AM (Online).
This is not a class focused on learning more, but a space for practicing together, allowing familiarity, pacing, and quiet awareness to deepen over time.
Each one-hour gathering includes guided breath awareness and space for reflection within a small, respectful circle. There is no pressure to share. Participants are invited to arrive as they are and engage at a pace that feels supportive.
This series builds on the foundational language and practices introduced in Introduction to Holistic Healing and is intended for those who wish to continue integrating breath and grounding in community.
To support privacy and shared presence, sessions are live and not recorded. Enrollment closes once the series begins.
Animal Wisdom: Wolf | Moving Forward in Relationship - Online
Animal Wisdom: Wolf | Moving Forward in Relationship is a one-hour, Zoom-based class guided by the embodied wisdom of the wolf. This offering supports the transition from stillness into movement through body-based awareness, pacing, and responsive attention rather than force or urgency.
Drawing inspiration from how wolves move through changing terrain, participants are guided to sense while beginning to move—listening to breath, posture, and environmental cues as they adjust direction and pace. Practices include gentle grounding, awareness of coordinated movement, wide orientation, and periods of quiet integration that allow the nervous system to settle and recalibrate.
This class is especially supportive during times of transition, when forward movement is needed without losing connection to instinct, relationship, or inner feedback. Participants are invited to join from a quiet, comfortable space where they can sit or rest with minimal interruption. No prior experience is required.
Guided Drum Meditation: Introduction to Journey Work - Online
Join us Online for an introductory Guided Drum Meditation, a practice rooted in longstanding, earth based contemplative traditions that use rhythm to support focused inner exploration.
The first portion of class offers education on the foundations of drum-supported meditation, including how rhythm influences attention and imagery, and how guides or supportive presences are understood within this tradition.
During the guided portion, participants will be invited to lie down in a quiet, comfortable space while the steady beat of the drum supports a relaxed meditative state. Experiences are approached with curiosity and discernment. Participants are encouraged to take what resonates and leave what does not, interpreting their experience through their own spiritual or personal framework.
No prior experience is necessary. This class serves as the prerequisite for joining the monthly Guided Drum Meditation Circle.
