This one-hour, Zoom-based class explores the embodied wisdom of Bear and the natural movement between retreat and emergence. Through gentle body awareness, simple movement, quiet reflection, and stillness, we’ll discover the progression of going within | listening | restoring | developing | emerging and consider how this cycle may be reflected in our own lives.
Drawing inspiration from how Bear’s seasonal rhythm, we will look at slowing down, gathering inward, allowing experience to settle, and make from for what may still be taking shape. We will also explore the other side of Bear’s teaching: recognizing when the retreat is complete and when it may be time to emerge or more forward.
Practices include awareness through the feet and back, slow deliberate shifts of weight, steady breathing, and periods of quiet integration that create space for stillness and reflection.
This class is especially supportive during seasons of transition or fatigue, when energy benefits from thoughtful boundaries and intentional retreat. Participants are invited to join from a quiet, comfortable space where they can sit or rest with minimal interruption. No prior experience is required.
