Root & Threshold
A contemplative journey through seasonal cycles, tree wisdom, and Ogham symbolism.
Understanding Root & Threshold
Root & Threshold is an ongoing contemplative gathering centered around seasonal awareness, tree wisdom, symbolic exploration, creativity, and relationship with the rhythms of the living world.
Inspired by seasonal cycles and Ogham symbolism, each monthly gathering explores a different tree and seasonal threshold through meditation, reflection, discussion, observation, and creative integration practices. Rather than following a rigid curriculum or certification model, Root & Threshold invites participants into an evolving relationship with the turning year and the symbolic themes held within each season.
Gatherings are designed to support personal reflection, creativity, seasonal observation, and contemplative exploration within a grounded and supportive space. Participants may attend individual monthly gatherings or continue returning throughout the seasonal cycle over time.
No prior experience with Ogham, meditation, or symbolic practice is required.
The Seasonal Cycle
Root & Threshold follows a seasonal cycle inspired by traditional Ogham associations beginning after Samhain and continuing through the turning year. Each monthly gathering explores a different tree, seasonal threshold, and symbolic theme connected to reflection, creativity, and seasonal awareness.
Participants may attend individual gatherings or continue returning throughout the seasonal cycle over time.
Whether joining for a single gathering or returning throughout the seasonal cycle, participants are invited into an ongoing practice of reflection, observation, creativity, and relationship with the turning year.
