This small outdoor class offers a practical introduction to working with fire in a safe and grounded way.

Together, participants will build and tend a small, contained campfire while exploring how fire behaves and how to work with it responsibly. You will learn simple techniques for starting and maintaining a fire, how fire responds to airflow and different materials, and how to move around it with greater awareness and confidence.

This educational experience focuses on foundational fire-tending skills and offers a place to begin developing a relationship with fire through hands-on learning. It does not include firewalking or advanced fire training.

All participants are expected to follow the safety guidance and instructions provided during the class.

This class is weather dependent and may be rescheduled if conditions are not suitable for working with fire safely.

Additional classes and training are available for those who wish to continue developing their work with fire.
