Walking on Fire: Introduction

Firewalking is often misunderstood. For some, it can feel extreme or intimidating. For others, it carries a sense of mystery or uncertainty.

This outdoor class offers a grounded, practical introduction to what firewalking is and what it is not.

Together, we’ll explore:

• What happens during a firewalk

• Why people choose to walk

• How preparation, mindset, and safety come into play

• Common questions and concerns

This IS NOT a firewalk. There will be no walking across coals in this session.

This class is designed as a shorter, accessible entry point. A way to become familiar with the practice of firewalking and what it involves before deciding if it’s something you may want to experience more fully.

We will spend time around a live fire, offering a chance to observe, reflect, and begin to understand your own relationship with fire, in a calm and supportive environment.

Simple practices will be introduced to help you explore focus, presence, and how we meet moments of challenge which are all foundational elements that support firewalking.

You do not need any prior experience, and there is no expectation that you will ever choose to walk. This is simply an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore from a place of clarity rather than assumption.

This is an educational experience focused on foundational skills and does not include firewalking or advanced training. All participants are expected to follow the safety guidance provided during the class.

The class takes place outdoors in a small group setting and is weather dependent. It may be rescheduled if conditions are not safe for fire.
