This is a 90-minute online contemplative class that invites you to experience written words slowly through imagination, reflection, and creative exploration. Each gathering works with a selected poem, story, or short written piece, inviting you to see what emerges as the words unfold.
Rather than analyzing the reading or searching for its intended meaning, we will practice noticing what begins to emerge within us through images, sensations, memories, feelings, words, or simply moments of quiet.
For this gathering, we will work with Gathering of Trees, an original contemplative piece inspired by the ancient Welsh poem The Battle of the Trees. As the reading unfolds, guided pauses create space to explore your own inner landscape.
No art, meditation, writing, or literary experience is needed.
