A 4 ½ hour, in-person workshop combining learning, personal reflection, and hands-on creation
The workshop begins with a brief exploration of the background and symbolism of the dream catcher. Along with the meanings associated with the materials that are used to create the dream catcher.
With step-by-step instruction and individual support, each participant will wrap a 5-inch hoop, weave the web, and select beads and feathers from the materials provided. The finished dream catcher is created slowly and thoughtfully from start to finish.
This workshop is designed as a calm and welcoming space where learning, creativity, and personal meaning can unfold without pressure. No prior weaving or crafting experience is needed, and all materials are included.
Participants should bring a bagged lunch and a covered beverage. The workshop will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Directions and additional details will be sent before the scheduled date.
