Before Class

Have your work area clean and ready with all ingredients and equipment within reach. Please wash all fresh produce thoroughly and have the mason jars clean and ready to use.

If you choose to sterilize the jars beforehand, completely submerge the clean jars in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove them carefully with tongs or a jar lifter and allow them to drain without touching the inside.

There is no need to chop or prepare the ingredients ahead of time beyond washing the fresh ingredients. We will prepare and assemble both the Fire Cider and Fire Honey together during class.
