Benzoin, Absolute

It possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, as well as sedative effects. It has been used to treat a variety of conditions such as gout, asthma, croup, cough, laryngitis, swelling, cuts, bleeding, skin ulcers, bedsores, arthritis, dry/cracked skin, swollen gums, herpes cankers, fluid retention, psoriasis, frostbite, acne, and anxiety. Note it may also cause skin sensitivity.

Absolute means this essence was produced through solvent extraction, which involves the use of alcohol which is different from steam distillation. The resulting mixture is then redistilled with water to produce the final product. This method ensures that the essence is of the highest quality.
